To relieve the fine-grinding the pre-crushing is crushing with a large crushing ratio. Here the product properties determine the system.

Profiled tools are applied, such as cam profiled rollers, profiled crushing plates or special knife shapes. The crushing ratio can be realized up to 1:10 max. 1: 20.

To protect the expensive tools against overload or foreign bodies, mechanical or hydraulic suspension systems are integrated.
